What, in your opinion makes a good post. Is it length, detail, layout etc.

I guess for me it would have to be detail, though length follows closely behind. Quality over quantity so they say, however i think the good posts are detailed, lengthy posts.

Makes it ineresting to read. =P

I agree, but I don't agree. I think detail is of the utmost importance, but I think posts that are really long, lose sight of what you are actually posting about. If I have to read really long drawn out posts, by the time I am done I've forgotten what I read at the start. I think grammar and spelling is really important as well, its really annoying reading posts that have loads of spelling mistakes in them.
